The clothes

‘Vintage’ generally refers to clothing from the 1970s and earlier. From the '20s flapper dresses via the '50s hourglass figure, the '60s minis to '70s punk, 20^th century fashion has been the most changeable, not only in the way it portrayed women, but also how women at last had the opportunity to define their own style.  

All VV clothes have been chosen for their uniqueness, quality, durability, and wearability. VV want to make any woman look and feel great at an affordable price, whatever her age or size. All the clothes have been cleaned and full details given in the description of each item.

The fabulous thing about vintage is that all the clothes have a story to tell to add to yours.

How we work

The decade and materials of the items are assessed to the best of our well researched expertise. However, this is not an exact science.

Postage

We're happy to send any item worldwide.

When you add an item to your basket and choose your country our automatic postage rules will give you a specific total price up to a basket weight of either up to 1kg (small parcel) or 2kgs (medium parcel) for the UK, Europe, the USA & Canada or any other international location.  

If your country is for some reason not included, or your basket is over 2kgs, just fill in the contact form and we'll get back to you ASAP with a postage cost.

UK baskets up to 2kg & Europe baskets up to 1kg: All items are sent Royal Mail Second Class Signed For unless you contact us before checkout requesting otherwise.

Europe baskets over 1kg & all other locations: All items are sent Parcelforce Worldwide Global Priority (which is tracked) unless you contact us before checkout requesting otherwise.

Customer- friendly returns policy

No problems if it doesn't suit, just send it back!

All the items are measured precisely and a full description given, including any flaws. We will accept returns based on the Terms & Conditions (clause 8) http://www.vintage-venus.com/storepage2945635.aspx

• Any items returned undamaged will be eligible for a refund if returned within 14 days from their Recorded Delivery signed for date. If they are returned later, a discount voucher for the original price will be given for the customer's next purchase.
• Buyer pays return postage costs (Second Class Recorded Delivery recommended).

About us

Vintage Venus is a family business. Annelie has been making her own clothes since she was eight. Janet, her mother, was a model in the 60’s and is also a dab hand at dress making. ‘Style over fashion’ has always been our motto. Long may it continue :-).
